Beginners courses are an excellent way to try Aikido. Our beginners courses last six weeks and cover all the basic elements. For more information or to reserve yourself a place, please contact Erik Dop (3rd Dan JAA) by email or by phone on 0781 – 715 1584.
Training Insurance: Everyone training must have valid BAB Insurance, please bring your certificate for proof, otherwise cover can be purchased on the day.
These sessions are at a higher fitness level that you would normally have in a class with a fair bit of randori, so expect a good work-out!! Only graded students can attend this session.
Tetsuro Nariyama is the Chief Technical Director of the Japan Aikido Association (JAA). This new book (Available from mid July) describes the practice Aikido Randori, from the basics to application, along with an explanation of the underlying principles and a clarification of the historical and theoretical foundations of competitive aikido.
The result is a detailed work of reference that will not only benefit your randori practice but will improve your level of kata and give you a deeper insight into aikido in general.
A great opportunity to train with Newcombe Sensei. Please confirm with Jim or Steve if you plan to make this training session as space is limited. Steve troutysanvil@hotmail.com or Jim jim.newcombe@hotmail.co.uk
