Southern Seminar Steve Evans, Coach & Christian Kirkman, Aikido World Champion
Saturday 22nd May
Shodokan Coach (2005), Steve Evans and the current Aikido World Champion, Christian Kirkham will be running a seminar. Christian started Aikido at the age of 14 years. Steve who started his Aikido career in the juniors coached the 2005 Shodokan Aikido Team to considerable success. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet two well known Aikido practitioners and to listen to their thoughts on how to build the mind set for winning at a competitive level. The seminar will also run through various practices, drills and exercises that both have either done and taught, so you can also experience some of the training that you need to do at competition level.
We would encourage those who are thinking ahead for the next World Championships in 2013 or interested in competition generally to come along and take part in what should be a very informative and exciting seminar.
